Most designers are a joke and make crap like a big header on top, 3 rows of thumbs and some blinking crap at the bottom with such enticing well written, well thought out text links like "enter here for more!" or "more here" or "click here for more!

The best is when they have blinking crap at different intervals, it's like a set of lights on a christmas tree and if you look close enough you might get a seizure.

or even yet worse fpa templates that are like over 100kb and take a freakin min to load, with some ugly pic of a girl on one side, and some more blinking crap.
