Married men: I think that some girls are intereted in "conquering" married men because of their ego-trip. Thus they try to say: "Look at me! I'm such a cool girl that made a married man to leave his family". For me, that's stupid.
Another version - some girls are looking for short relations, for sex and nothing more. In this case, it's easier to broke up with a married man or a man with relations then with a single man.
Men in relations: Men in relations are not married men means that they are not married yet because of some reasons. Girls may think that a man is not married because he's not sure that the woman he lives with is "the woman of his life". That's why girl think that they can have a chance with him.
I had never heard from my female friends that they're hunting married men or men in relations maybe 'cause I have nice friends who are not interested in such "no future" relations.
Single men: if I know that the man is single I'll definitely would be curious "why". Why he is single? Of course, his age matters a lot. For example, if he's 30 y.o. or more and signle I would like to know if he was married before (if yes, why he divorced) or did he have serious relations (if yes, why he didn't marry and broke up) etc. (I hope you understand what I mean). Not all girls can ask these questions directly as most men don't like to talk about that.
I think that you shouldn't worry about you're single and girls that don't pay attention on single men. Some day you'll surely find the one who'll love you and care about you
