This generation has been blessed with the power to know what's going on 24/7 and from independent news sources. Its a lot harder for politicians and political leaders to pull off their games anymore, if not impossible. This is one of the reasons you see countries like China going "Oh shit" how do we keep the people from seeing the truth via the Net now.

So here we are with the President saying "we have to protect this country from terrorists." Meanwhile we still have 32,000 US Forces securely protecting the border of South Korea, we have 47,000 US Forces still in Japan. And lets not even think about the 160,000 US Forces protecting the people of Iraq. LOL

So the public goes WTF? If the promise is we're protecting you from terrorists, how come 12 Million people got into the US illegally? Why do we have hundreds of thousands of our troops thousands of miles away protecting other countries and leaving our own borders wide open?

Public begins to say, hmmm, something doesn't add up here. And they are right. The US border has been purposely left unprotected because US business likes to exploit cheap uneducated labor from Mexico, and they don't give a flying fuck if it means compromising US national security in the process.

Oh, but now we have another dycotemy in the news. We need to monitor all the nations internal phone calls to track down the bad guy terrorists, but uh oh we haven't secured our borders still 5 years after 9/11. So now they have to explain themselves, because people realize its all baloney. And it is stale baloney to be candid. We're no more safer today than we were 5 years ago. In fact we're probably more of a sitting duck than ever now.

But shhhhhh, don't tell the people that, we're too busy figuring out their phone calling patterns right now.
Excellent summary! Bang on about everything.
