For many reasons, too many and too complex to go into here at this time, I must say that I can surely suggest how AmputateYourHead ought to behave.
Ultimately, however, the burden of acting with moral rectitude lies with AmputateYourHead himself.
He has a staggering number of cranky, feeble-minded advocates.
One way to lower their numbers, if not eradicate them entirely, is simple.
We just inform them that as our society continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto, grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately need.
