If I recall what the owner of Lust.com is asking, it's not too much considering that you wanted a high-end 1 word domain. But they could have boosted their price recently. If you are truly looking for HIGH-END one word domains, but not offering to pay substantial amounts of money, then skip over the next part. If you're serious, then read on:

Keep in mind, I'll also entertain creative offers of cash + equity, % of revenue ongoing, etc. We've struck many deals like this in mainstream where we get cash upfront, usually 10%-25% equity, and between 3%-$15% of all revenue ongoing, with a guarantee that our stake will be worth $X within 2-3 years or we are paid the difference.
