I know plenty of people who make a living, as well as a handful that are "rich" (in most anyone's definition) who started with nothing and just devoted themselves to this job. "it takes money to make money" is a truth but not the absolution. Hard work and dedication are also the keys to success. Money will only help you you on the quest.
