I honestly do not even know if you need crack to do something that stupid. I think we all can admit doing one thing or another that just makes no damn fucking sense when we do it.

Some of my more brilliant examples.

Wondering why the freezer is ringing, only to find out I put the phone in there.
Placing a hot cast iron skillet into a super hot oven to finish off a dish. You know damn well it is molten hot when you open the oven door yet for some reason you still grab ahold of the handle to take it out.
Putting your keys in your ignition and starting the car. You then do something else like finish talking to someone and then you hear that gawd awful screetch as you attempt to start the running car.
