You guys are misunderstanding the entire point behind "design". An 18 year old kid that knows some fancy photoshop techniques is in no way a designer. The guys on GFY, and the vast majority of adult "designers" don't know the first thing about usability or user-centered design. I would suspect that 99% of them could not cut it as a mainstream designer and/or developer, so they stay in Adult. Design is different than "art"; while the outcome may be similar, the two processes are fueled by entirely different cores. Personally I like MikeW and Webinc, the rest are just Photoshop gurus IMO.
