IMHO, I would not contact the TODAY show directly... possibly use it against you if/when they try to "reverse hijack" it. Let them come to you, just because they haven't contacted you yet doesn't mean they aren't thinking about it... you just need to find some way to light a fire under them. It's an amazing domain. I'm trying to imagine what business use it could have, the new owner's would be wise to steer away from using it for News.
