The Sultan Of Smut

I lurk around here from time to time, make a completely useless thread, regurgitate something a wiser man said earlier in the thread, then leave. What I'm having troubles with is why go through the effort to create a new account and impersonate someone else? Most fake nicks aren't around for long but some are in the hundreds? Why waste all the energy since I, and I'm assuming many others, disregard all comments made by someone who wants to remain even more anonymous than he/she already is.

This board isn't real life people. I want to beat myself up.
