I would say that's the biggest thing I took from college. An outlook on life I did not have before, and the critical thinking skills more than anything.
I was going to post something very close to this, but you did first

I never viewed college as 'job training'. Learning a vocation is a minor 'side benefit' to obtaining a proper education IMO. The education itself can help you succeed in many areas of life other than simply getting a paycheck and watching how big the numbers printed on it are.
