These folks don't think twice about killing themselves in the name of Allah. To their way of thinking it is a great noble honor to die for their religion.

The middle east is a barrel of gasoline with a lot of people standing around it and holding matches in their hands.

Iran has a lot of advanced weaponry all bought with their enormous oil profits. They have to be considered a force to be reckoned with because without a doubt they have already prepositioned terrorists worldwide ready to go on a moments notice if they get attacked.

I don't even think Israel and the US could do the job effectively alone. This will require a complete massive NATO force. We'd have to cut some extremely lucrative backend oil deals with both China and Russia to get their ok's on it, which they would probably do since they only care about Iran for its oil anyway.

However it goes, it will be very messy and complicated.

And if things do go to the military choice, we'll get to see some new extremely advanced and highly destructive DARPA weapons used for the first time I'm sure.
