make sure the colour is light enough that it isn't darker than the foundation she's wearing OR her own skin colour. Lighter is better.
Get a good blush brush. THe makeup girl will know what you mean. Don't use the flat circle pad that comes in the powder. It'll leave cakes on her face.
Get something hypoallergenic and UNscented. Less chance of a bad reaction that way.
I don't use it a lot, and a tin lasts a LONG time. I found Marcelle's loose face powder works fine. It's in a plastic container.
I use "translucent" because it's a bit twinkly and won't change the colour of anything you use it over.
