Sound advice.

Always first check with a physician. Get a physical to make sure you should be exercising with the routine you want.

It's always wise to do the normal exercises once you get the okay. Walking! You'ld be surprised how much walking can make a difference. Only pump iron if you have someone who is experienced enough to show you the basics. Any top gym will have a staff member there or there will be seminars posted by semi-pro and pro trainers.

I've been pumping iron on and off for 25 years. I spent last 8 weeks in the gym after a long time off. Ended up gettin huge and strong. Took 2 weeks off to recover and am back at it again. It surprises me that the older I get the better and stronger I get at it. That's the one thing about pumping iron naturally that I just love. Us guys get better looking with age I know guys in their 70s who look like they're 50 or late 40s who pump iron and diet right. Stong as bulls they are. I mean scary fucking strong.

By end of this year I'll be back to a happy 500-600 on the bench which I feel best at. If I can do it, you can do it but do-it-right.
