The plans we had for today fell through, so Belinda and I decided to drive around our hometown and show you what it looks like where we live. Every photo on this page were taken within 10 miles of our house. Most are less than 2 miles away. In total we took a few hundred. I'll post 28 of them now. Maybe some of the rest will be posted later.

Shasta Dam. There's enough concrete in this dam to make a sidewalk 3 feet wide and a foot thick around the equator:

Shasta Lake. Over 300 miles of shoreline. Belinda and I are going to be on a houseboat here for a week this month. Who wants to go? The boat holds 16 and has a hottub and satellite TV that works even when under way:

The Sundial Bridge. A foot bridge across the Sacramento River. This bridge is awesome, especially at night when it lights up. The part you walk on is made of some sort of glass or semi-transparent glass.
