15-20% is actually 3.75-5.00
And most affiliate programs get a better break then that.

$24.99 x 15% = $3.75 for processor
$24.99 x 50% = $12.50 for affiliate
$24.99 - $3.75 - $12.50 = $8.74 for sponsor before other expenses
That's how it should be done but many sponsors like to cheat us affiliates and make us pay 50% of the processing fee
