what do you need a pedal for? Do you even know what pedals do and when and why they are used?

I'm not being an ass or anything, I'm serious. What do you need the pedal for? Distortion? if so, an amp would already have that, if you are planning to plug in direct to a console, then good luck with that. it will sound like ass pedal or no pedal due to the fact that guitar amplification wong go above 6khz nominaly.

To be honnest, considering what you do music wise, I'd suggets a $500 Epiphone Les Paul and a Peavy rackFX tube preamp. Has distortion, effects, cabinet and amp modeling. And the best reason.. it has direct level outs on it to allow direct to console recording. Both items combined won't break $750
