Actually youre very correct - I was seeing how many people would react to that
Hydrogen tanks are loads safer than the gasoline we use today - and it burns so quickly that temperatures affecting occupants of the car would hardly be noticable - as long as normal safety procedures are used its actually way safer than gasoline.
