Has anyone any experience installing Smartthumbs on a Dreamhost shared server.

Had some problems installing Comus free version (problem looking like it was host related) and now looking at Smartthumbs.

I'm going to invest in TGP software tomorrow and as smartthumbs does not have a trial, want to make sure its going to work on my shared hosting plan.
