Bad luck for Montreal but the penalty was a penalty and could have been called on either of the Montreal players. Carolina player was looking for it and enhanced it but not that much to be called a dive.

Bad tying goal. Goalies today are all spread pad wise over the ice, meaning they cover everything low in close. Mostly they are successful and I only wish I had today's style 20 years ago.

That said, every goalie to have ever played anywhere before 1980 would have simply stood up, stick between the pads, stopped the shot and let the player slide on by and the rebound would be right there for your defenceman to toss off into the corner.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Ask Tretiak about '72.

Should be up 3-0 and never let your opponent get back the momentum.

Hindsight might say that lucky goal by Brindamour lost this series.

Hope not. :-)
