I chased Manta Rays out in the ocean about 1/2 mile out all last weekend looking for Cobia. The rays are migrating North this time of year.
The Cobia swim on top and under them and when they see your jig they will dart out grab it and dart back on top of the ray, set the hook and hold on.
Has to be sunny and not too choppy so you can see those big bastards under the water. They are like 18-20 feet from wing tip to wing tip. Late in the day they jump out of the water, it's an incredible sight.
