Watch where you grab, Snook have razor sharp gill plates that will dam near cut your finger off. Very tough on the leader line also.
Good eating, very white firm meat. Tricky bastards. One of the few fish that will sometimes swim right at you after you hook them and try to cut the line on a rock.
40 lb snook are fun, you're going to have a blast!
This is a small one, maybe 10-12 lb. and about as big as one your allowed to keep. Gotta be between 26" - 34" to keep, 1 per day here per person.
