Pearl Jam is too alt to try to make albums anyone will like. Infact I remember Eddie bitching at one point that he would do his best to make their next album unplayable on the radio and unlistenable for everyone but the most diehard among the grunge movement. Statements like this should help us understand why grunge died. The guys who rocked like PJ, commited popular suicide because they hated being considered pop. I stopped being able to listen to them after their first album 10, which ranks among the best albums ever made imo. To bad they couldn't have just stuck with that sound
This being said World Wide Suicide does sound pretty cool, but its no Jeremy.
