Shouldnt take that long to clear at BoA unless they are suspicious of the source... ie out of country... something looks off with check... etc.
I'm using BofA, havent had to many problems with them. I also have a back up account at WaMu, used to be my main, but after some id theft problems, they became my secondary banking source... keeping a few bucks stoked away in credit unions to...
