Nash edged out Shaq last year and some in the media called it racism. Shaq didn't help by making pompous comments (not racist, just egomaniacle).
Nash represents what the league likes right now.
He is a great player, but he isn't a champion like Kobe. And he never will be. If he wants a title, he needs to play along side Kobe or Lebron. IMO.
