I agree some ppl go too far with clothing for their animals however, some small dogs NEED coats etc. I have a chihuahua and she's got the classic big chihuahua ears so she loses most of her heat through her ears. So we put sweaters, hats etc. When we're hot, chihuahuas are cool, thus the clothes ;)
