Here in Winnipeg we're paying $1.10/litre.....
which by my calculation = $4.15 Cdn per US Gallon.
Which = $3.65 USD per gallon (by today's exchange rate)
I find it a bit of an outrage that countries like Venezuela can have their people paying so little (.12 cents per gallon), when CANADA is in the top 3 in the world for largest oil deposits. We are the largest seller of oil to the US. By our gas prices we are being treated like a non-oil-producing country for fuck sakes.
Something's not right, and part of that something starts with the sizeable tax our government grabs on every gas purchase we make. Bastards.
