But of course there is assholes everywhere. Unfortunately when your a pronographer they tend to be very vocal at you.
Now I'm half native north american indian and my husband is half Italian.
As one of the first nations people my citizenship extends from Canada to Mexico.
My husband holds dual citizenship between Canada and Italy. With the E.U. he can be anywhere in Europe.
That means we have half a world covered with our citizenships.
Not that is really important but like you we have lived in Canada, States and France. And have property in two of these areas. I can't comment on Switzerland or Spain but I was present during the riots in France. And when we lived there was shocked to see groups of people start up a homeless soup kitchen and laugh at muslims because they made pork soup.
You can say the UK is open minded and I'll be the first to agree it is most likely the BEST country in all of europe. Even with all the CCTV cameras on the street corners and a banking system with more rules than I can shake a stick at. I find the people to be slightly prudish but relatively nice and open minded.
Culturally Europe has America and Canada beat. Can't compete with hundreds of years of history. However, I'm going to go with the USA all the way!!! In a Fucked up world it's the best bet for a free and open society.

Na... cops are same as anyone else - they are entitled to respect and common courtesy until such time as they may misbehave, - same as anyone else. It does not matter about "pornography" - it's either legal or illegal. If it's legal - nada problems. Only time I've ever told a cop to shut the fuck up was when he behaved like an idiot - otherwise these guys have been good as gold and like their porn same as much any other paysite subscriber.  |
I once had a cop in L.A. explain to me that their overall duty is to keep the peace. Therefore I'm big enough to say that perhaps all the officer wanted was to keep Park-50 from having a heart attack. And figured it was easier to chase me away than to reason with the guy. ((Benefit of the doubt))
But what I'm getting at is that I miss the ability to do my job without hinderence. I was relatively left alone to do what I wanted back in North America. And trust me if I had a choice, I would run back to Montreal in a heart beat. ((Hell I would be willing to go to Newfoundland)) But I'm stuck until he gives up boats or Harper is removed from office.
