the hague is where the government is, as far as I know holland is the only country where its like that. Amsterdam is the capital always was.
Its confusing cause we use the name hofstad (city where the court resides) and hoofdstad (capital), so its confusing yeah
the pic punk posted is the binnenhof, the old government building, its in the centre of the hague and still used, theres a famous pond on one side, the oldest part of the hague, where all the nice buildings are, museums with the big masterpieces like the girl with the pearl earring (you know scarlets painting). Its a nice place to be, sit, have a drink.
