IQ tests measures your intelligence, intelligence is the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations, the more intelligent you are the more skilled you are with the use of reason. It does not measure with the amount of information your brain can hold, that is a Memory Test.
Also, average IQ is ALWAYS 100... no matter what test you take, how far below and above 100 is what differs between the tests.

I used the container analogy to demonstrate how IQ limits ones ability to learn/hold and to understand. I take it that you did not like the analogy.
