You should work out to keep in shape. This hasn't got anything to do with the fact you are already skinny. There are lots of different types for working out.
Chubby people try to lose weight but you could try to get a better condition, stay in shape. Even if you are skinny you will benefit from a trip to the gym.
Chubby people won't get skinny just from working out, changing their eating style will make them lose lots more weight then they will lose from going to the gym every couple of days.
