Arrested in 1993 by the U.S. Secret Service for forgery, uttering a forged instrument, counterfeiting, illegal use of federal documents, and unauthorized access into a secured system.

I was young and became friends with a computer hacker that would hack into Equifax and pull people's credit reports. We'd then apply for credit cards under their name and create entire fake identities. The real big no-no was counterfeiting U.S. Treasury checks and cashing them under fake names. We had apartments under different people's names and would order stuff and have it shipped to the different apartments. Back then the security wasn't nearly as good as it is now. One day I went out and cashed over $40,000 worth of checks and ended up at the car dealership and bought my girlfriend at the time a brand new Mistibishi 3000GT Twin Turbo and paid in cash (not the smartest thing in the world to do), but then again, I really didn't think of getting caught. I really did have a God complex back and then and felt that I was untouchable.

It all came to an end when the Secret Service raided my place and ceased everything that I owned. I ended up doing 2 1/2 years in Prison and years and years of probation. I learned from my mistake and haven't done one single illegal thing since. What's crazy is that we were all over the news, in the news papers (they called us a "ring") and the most anyone got was 5 years which was pardoned because he got a job working for the Justice Department. We must have done well over $2M in the span of a year and pretty much got a slap on the wrist. If someone robs a liquor store and gets $100 then they usually get sentenced to 15 years mandatory. White collar crime is the way to go. I'm not condoning it, simply stating facts.
