From that article, I can understand why it looks like I'm "ashamed" of my business. On the contrary, I'm so proud of what Lightspeed has become, I'm doing my best to promote it and protect it at the same time. I did the interview because I was told it would be a "David vs Goliath"-type success story about Lightspeed. I was flat out lied to. No amount of promotion or signups would be worth comprising my family's privacy. The WSJ really let me down in that way.
I keep my business quiet locally because that is the PRUDENT thing to do. Also I am just like any other parent, keeping my kids interests and entertainment AGE-APPROPRIATE. I am an ex computer consultant. My computer "kung-fu" is stronger than my children's, and they are completely unaware of Lightspeed.
If you think people in the adult entertainment business shouldn't have kids, then DON'T HAVE KIDS. Otherwise, be responsible and conscientious about the issues like we are.
