our local office max is going out of business, tommorows last day but I went to see what was left. They had on of those uniden phones with a seperate wireless phone for 80% off the lowest price, so I picked it up for 20 bucks. got home and sighed up for the free month of packet8.net service, and talked for 2 hours to a buddy of mine on the other side of the country... clear as a bell. Actually sounded better than my old phone and a ton better than my cell. I'm sold. 20 bucks a month unlimited local and long distance, plus I ca plug my fax into it also... nice.
