Yeh, thats where people start getting deep and sappy about the "art". I like the music, the "art" really doesn't mean much to me.
Anyway, what was the reason their debut album was an EP? Are you telling me their first album was an EP for some artsy reason rather than it being a bunch of broke guys trying to make it big like every other band? Granted, Tool isn't "every other band", I am just entertained by all of the artsy reasons people find to explain something quite simple.
