We have 110 Million people in Mexico as our neighbors. Its not like they are on the other side of the world. They are right next door. We have to be aware of what is going on just like you do with the person who lives next to your home.
After Canada, Mexico is our 2nd biggest trade partner. So from a business standpoint you don't ignore the problems of your major partner.
So the problem isn't going to disappear with a magic fence or loading them up on buses every day. That is not a solution. Just more bandaids. The country to the south of us needs open heart surgery. Their elite system of either rich or poor is impacting us. Its time to develop solutions on how to provide opportunities for people in Mexico so they won't come here. Only then will the problem be solved. They don't come here to sunbathe. They come here for only one thing work. In Mexico they make $5 a day. Here they can make 10 times that.
