Yeah, I have one of the new dual cores .. I bought a Mini (because I have huge monitors, and the iMac would be silly to downgrade to), and a laptop. They scream with speed -- I'm very happy. My Windows/Linux PC was a 4200+ AMD with 2GB of RAM, Dual 7900 cards in SLI (don't quote me on this, I bought it months ago, and barely remember) .. this feels faster.

you really got to love macs. very fast and stable. i've used windows before for designing and stuff after a months of using it keeps on failing the first months are fine but then you'll get lots of headaches from viruses and technical problems on pc's. i bought this old mac june last year and its amazing i haven't had any problems when it comes to hardwares especially in softwares
can't wait to use my new g5 with 3.5 ram and heh only 2.7 dual but im ok with that i can't afford the monster quad. i'll check that bootcamp and see
