Why in the fuck congress doesn't go after the oil companies with a windfall tax in beyond me. These oil companies could give a shit if the country goes into a depression, just so long as they can make their obscene profits. It's like the 70's all over again.

It sickens me to think about how fucked the whole Bush/Cheney deal is in regards to all their ties to big oil companies being most of the ones that got the gov contracts.
