.htaccess - letting GOOGLE in

For now I let GFY, Google, and a few other sites hotlink images.

Going through my stats, I notice Google is using substantial bandwidth.

If I dont let Google in on my .htaccess, will it hurt my PR somehow, or is it just a bad marketing move?

hmmmmm
