Ok, I am a new webmaster. I am just finishing my paperwork to submit to the state to register my business. So this directly influences me. This is what I know.

If I have to pay 750.00 just to start I will most likely have to hold off an additional six weeks to get that out of the way. I would definitely even consider longer to handle the 350.00 a year from now.

IF...

I have to pay 750.00 just to get processing going, I will. I think Epoch, CCBill, and iBill realize this. Everyone else who CANNOT PAY (and mind you, who really CAN'T under NO CIRCUMSTANCES) is not going to make a really good profit in the long run anyway... Mind you, this is my theory and may be disproved with time, and under no circumstances should this be taken as fact.

I THINK (also, just a theory) that Epoch, iBill, and CCBill banded together on this one to promote thier own PROFIT MARGIN. Otherwise it would not have been a JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT. They needed solidarity on this issue to make it work profitably for them.

What I also know...

I have NEVER READ ANYTHING BAD ABOUT GloBill. I cannot say the same for the other companies. In fact, thier baseless threats of HAVING to come back, innuendos of sueing small webmasters (no offence to anyone on the board) for SLANDER in speaking thier OPINIONS is reprehensible, poor relations, and just poopy.
