Eh, that's a tricky subject. Is it wrong the way that they went about it? Yeah, probably. I didn't read the whole story, but if they were selling the organs, then that is wrong. But on the other hand, if 10 year old "Little Timmy" is laying in a hospital bed and is gonna die if he doesn't get a new heart, and some saddistic rapist, serial killer, etc. is setting on Death Row and his heart is a match...well, I guess you have to decide which life has the most value. In my opinion, the kid that has never had a chance at life is gonna win out every time.
That's just my opinion, but I'll also say this. There was talk of "human rights violations" in that story...but in my opinion, if you're sitting on Death Row, that pretty much means that you have violated the "human rights" of others...and thus, you shouldn't have any human rights anymore. I've seen too much in the papers lately about child molesters/killers, and in my opinion, if harvesting their organs could save another childs life...strap them to the gurney, baby!
