There's date versus fuck...and to be honest, there's no real number. It all depends on the girl, her maturity level, and what she wants out of the relationship. I've always dated guys who were older than me. Some up to 12+ years older. When I was 23, I dated a guy who was 36. Great relationship that lasted for a while and ended for reasons outside of our ages.
If you want a "real relationship" and she's younger , just make sure that the 2 of you are on the same page and together for the right reasons. Meaning that she just doesn't want a "Daddy" who will pay for her lifestyle and you just don't want a trophy to sport around. If its a mutual understanding on the other hand, and if she's legal, then go for it.
