It's not that it's bad to try and make a difference. I do think you need to pick your battles though. Have you been paying attention to the way this Administration acts? In an ideal World the people would have the power to make a difference. I just don't think we're living in a World that's anywhere near ideal, that's all. After outing CIA agents, leading the country to war, the Patriot Act etc, do you honestly believe that if you were able to make waves, you wouldn't be crushed? If you think the people will rally behind a pornographer, I think you've mistaken the public values of the US population, and by a long shot too.
