I'm pretty sure it isn't that she doesn't have problems with it, but that she is totally broke and her life is a bit of a trainwreck. As long as she has posted on this board, she's posted about being entirely broke every other week or so.
To me, she seems like someone who just doesn't manage to get her life in order. Of course, it's still a pretty fucked up thing to do to fuck you over like that. I hope you manage to get the money back.
