Odd but true story.
My great grandfather who was in the hospital and had already pressed the doorbell to deaths door and heard back, one moment please while we were all in his room. He had pretty much said his good byes and shared what he wanted with the family. We all knew he would be gone at any time. He was fairly weak and just holding on. Then out of the blue he litterally sat up in bed and said get me my wallet. Someone quickly retrieved and gave it to him. He dug through it and pulled something out. He sighed and layed back down. We all were fairly puzzled and then he turned to his side and in a hushed voice said here is the reciept for the boots in my closet, you still have two days to return them. That is almost the last thing he ever said.

sad/funny story , i had a family member die , and did something quite similar. He was worried his wallet would be stolen..
