Interesting and true story.

I go to Ruby Tuesday about once a week for lunch.

2 weeks ago, I went with 2 friends who are black, I'm asian. We didn't get waited on for 15 minutes. Looking around I saw one waitress walk to us, notice it was a colored table and walked away. We ended getting another black guy waiting on us. I went off and jokingly said, "We didn't get waited cause we're black!" He actually said "Some of the people I work with say they are my friend, but then will prejudge a table because of color". I was like damn, where's your manager?

Last week, I went with 3 white friends. We got service in less than 3 minutes.

It goes both ways, human nature.
