I'm sure she knows. But she would more fully comprehend. Believe me. Humans are visual. It would hit home much much MUCH harder to see with her own eyes how tore up you are over this. I've done it this way a few times and know from experience how effective it is.
Anyway, good luck. Life will go on. It'll just be very painful for it to do so for awhile.
