If they refuse to stop billing you, Its outright theft. It sounds weird for a company to do this. Are you 100% certain their isn't some miscommunication, or your on a contract or something?

Really hard to imagine a company with lots of clients would actually steal like this. Very very weird situation.

This isn't actually unheard of. A couple of years ago there were a handful of companies that were constantly doing this.

However, I find it odd that they want a "cancellation number". That doesn't make any sense. You need the cooperation and "permission" of the company you want to large a chargeback against? That can't be true because no one would EVER give you that cancellation number if they knew there wasn't shit you could do without it.
