Hahahahahahaha! Because that's really hard work.
I did it for five years during high school and college. Manual labor isn't any fun. It's one reason why guys go directly to the bar after they punch out. It beats you down physically and isn't very stimulating mentally.
Props to my dad for stepping up and running his own business - his parents were farmers - but I much prefer an office and a desk.

Although I wasn't too fond of working construction, it taught me two things. First, that I really needed to go to college so I could get a job using my head rather than my hands. Second, how to wield the tools. Need someone to rewire your house, let's talk.
