The guy is just positioning himself politically - he knows they are 10 years at least from really developing a weapon - the stuff theyve done so far is just enrichment for nuke plants - he just really wants a bomb for deterrence but hes a long way from getting one - I think with Israel sitting there with plenty of nukes and the US setting up permanent bases right next door he has every right to protect himself
Especially after we just gave India loads of help getting their program running full steam while also helping their enemy (Pakistan) develop their own nukes which is done now.
I wouldnt worry about it till Jerry Falwell or the Christian right gets hiw own nuke arsenel (oh yeah I forgot - theyve already got one dont they)
